I watched a video of the gameplay and it seems rather frustrating to play. You shoot the ball across and the other player tries to catch it. Think of air hockey without any air, with a hump in the middle, and your opponent generally overshooting because it's difficult to control the power of the "racket"/flicker.

Very frustrating to play. Son gave up on it. It's about as frustrating as trying to figure out the story in the new Mario Movie
