May's item credit will be available in June, so you can redeem two $10 rewards certs at once for $20 in goods from 6/15 to 6/30. Rewards certs on good on most items in store except gift cards, postage stamps and prepaid phone cards. You must redeem the full amount of the certs. at once, no credit it given back. You do not earn any new rewards on the redemption value of the certificates.
Tech rewards are valid to use IN STORE ONLY, you can not redeem them online or for online pick up orders.

Having said that, I very rarely had problems with ink rewards not posting properly but tech recycling rewards do not post at least every other time. I usually drop ink and tech on the same receipt so it's not that something was mistyped but I also had one time with separate receipts and still had a problem. I used to chat with Staples to get this fixed. One time I just didn't have the time to deal with it and the situation auto-fixed next month. Looking forward to see what I get next Thursday.
Are you guys having similar problems with tech recycling?

Not sure if this answers your questions but ink cartridges count towards the $5, and in this case $10, reward for tech recycling.
I've had store employees misunderstand this but it's very clear in the fine print and if you contact Staples corporate they'll tell you ink cartridges count.
Oh, and I've recycled a single ink cart and gotten my $5 reward without issue.

A theory I have is when you recycle ink cartridges and tech on the same receipt a lot of the time I don't get credited for the tech the following month. Most times when recycling tech on its own receipt I do get credited. Limited sample size though so not sure if this is just a random occurrence or a direct pattern.
In some cases it is better on the catchup though, then you can stack more together (3 months possibly) since they are kind of a pain to use as in-store usage only. I like to try to use them in combo with the $10/$30 receipt coupons so if I can collect $15 or $20 worth at a time to redeem that is great.
