I did it from last deal. It is not $199 I got back $140. I requested it the day I received it so I dont know how they prorated it.

You have to contact Apple. Provide them the serial number and they can look up to see if there is Applecare + attached to the phone. Then they will provided you either a credit or give you the prorated amount back to your checking account.
