As a Powerblock owner, I would have to recommend spending the extra $28 and picking up the large compact stand [amazon.com] instead. I have the large compact stand and I can't imagine how annoying it would be not to have the adder slots in the middle. Of course, there's also the weight issue. If you have stage 2 or 3 kits (I have both), you supposedly can't use this stand, as the specs say it has a 50 pound weight limit. The large stand has a 90 pound weight limit.

I'm sure this price is fine, but it's at least worth knowing that the big brother of this version is better, and it's not that much more expensive.

Pretty sure it was brought up in the woot powerblock thread, but this seems like a super easy DIY stand for $27

sadly that work station is no longer sold at Harbor Freight. However, I am sure this video can still be used for similar work stations at other vendors. Ps I am looking for a good / cheap 90lbs Powerblock stand

If you're near a menards they're clearing out a couple similar stands:

I just used an old nightstand, and added a piece of scrap countertop on top: https://i.imgur.com/Manh4xZ.png

Looks kind of ridiculous but it gets the job done. Being the biggest guy at my home gym, I get final say on all aesthetic decisions.

I found one online at Harbor Freight, might go see if they have it in-store

That should work, though this one would be closer to the original DIY https://www.harborfreight.com/uni...69805.html

Yeah the problem is that stand is discontinued at Harbor Freight.

I reckon this tool stand for $60 could also do the job: POWERTEC UT1002 Universal Tool Stand https://a.co/d/512gooB

Not sure why this states 50 lb limit, to be honest. I've got the 70 lb weights on this and they fit comfortably. The 90 lb would definitely not fit, but yeah.

Also, a 2x4 nicely fits in-between the two weights, which can be drilled out to fit the 2.5 lb weights. Not the nicest looking, but functional.
