Intel also has DRAM and has faster read/write. Intel seems better in every way that'll actually count. This deal is an acceptable alternative because of the value per dollar if the Intel drive sale ends.
But I would definitely recommend the Intel 670p over this.
Don't be too obsessed with TLC. Apart from ramless, lower read/write, this TLC only gives u 1000TBW, not too far from 670p QLC's 740TBW. Teamgroup has so-so reputation for its low end products too, so 670p could be a better buy here for couple bucks less.

Depends on use. For external USB drive Intel is better due to DRAM. If you have a lot of system RAM, HMB can be more performant due to addressing a larger amount of cache. TLC will be more performant when nearly full versus QLC. For a game file drive Teamgroup mp33 pro is probably better, for data storage Intel is probably better. Intel also won't really be providing support for their drive since they got rid of the SSD division.

By comparison the Intel 670p discussed above is 3500Mb/s reads which is >50% faster than this one. Both are x4 Gen 3.
But speed depends more on the # of lanes and the PCIe Gen. Gen 4 drives can get up to 5000-7500 range.
The spreadsheet that Doaln linked above has lots of drives with stats and you can see the range of speeds.
