I signed up for this once. During the free trial my credit card expired. Since they bill you in advance, I thought, no problem... I'll just let them cancel my account. But instead of doing that, they sold my "debt" to a debt collection agency. So be careful with this free trial.

It shouldn't cost money to have them hold packages.. Not going to support this.

Especially at an Access Point. Making 1 stop to deliver 10 packages at an Access Point is in UPS benefit than making 10 stops to deliver at ultimate destination.

I was able to renew twice with this method (2 transactions for $2 that added 2 months each, so I got 4 months for $4)

After the 2nd renewal, the Reneww button disappeared. Hopefully it comes back in 4 months lol

You set it up to automatically have packages sent and held at a local UPS access point, like a AutoZone, for free. And when you pick it up from the AP, you can earn points to redeem for a gift card on the UPS website

That 6 or 7 dollar fee they started charging for pickup was a complete scam.

Just a note that if you're wanting this in part to get your packages delivered by UPS, instead of routing to USPS for final delivery, it may not work that great. Most of mine I would get a notice that they can't 'reroute it' or something like that, and packages still got delivered by the post office anyways.

You can use it to extend an existing membership. Do renew, then enter the code, it should say it's charging you $2.

To not auto-renew after applying the code and paying the $2:

Click your profile icon/first name letter in the upper right
Click Preferences
Click Edit Preferences under UPS My Choice® Memberships
Click Name and Address under Membership Details
Uncheck I want UPS to automatically renew my Premium membership.
Click Save Changes

It was already unchecked for me but I'm going to set a reminder in early June to make sure
