Good value, and this price is actually less than what it sold for 4 years ago/on sale. (I bought one then and it's going strong). The only caution is the age of the Class 4 series technology. Might want to consider going with a Series 5, after reading buyer comments who owned both.
If you're not too fussy about picture and sound, it's good on quality, I have 6 of them in my two homes, paid almost double 4 years ago, all still going strong..
This is the right price for this TV. It's a pretty great bang/buck performer in my opinion. My son has an older (2021) 50" 4-Series that is still going strong for him. He recently picked one of these up for just slightly more than this price and he's completely satisfied with the performance. We noted a very minimal amount of backlight bleed on his when we mounted it. Bringing this up so people know they may need to play the panel lottery with their TV's. Test them before mounting or setting up. Regardless, great value at this price. I was very impressed with the picture quality given the price he paid. It doesn't have FALD, but you'll have to spend considerably more to get that. I think the 5-Series is worth the stretch if you can afford it, or the Hisense U7H, if possible. That one has a native 120Hz panel, so might set you back more.
TL;DR - good bang/buck performer if you can find a good panel.

My series 2017 series 4 tcl roku 43" which used to be my regular tv and in last couple yrs has been a seldom use extra tv has gotten noticeably laggy. I tried resetting and restart which improved a little but not sure if it's a hardware issue or hot

mines still going strong after 4 years too (knock on wood)
I agree, the 5 series was on sale for 199.99 from Best Buy as a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal last November. This isn't a terrible deal, but compared to that it's not as much of one. If you need a TV right now, it's a decent price.

Local Wally has the 5-series 65" for 349 is it worth?

A few years ago, I would have said no but nowadays the 5 series is almost as good as the 6 series
