On April 29, we're bringing back four amazing movies in ScreenX for one day only — so you can see what makes ScreenX so good for just $3.
ScreenX's multi-projection technology expands the picture beyond the screen and onto the auditorium walls, making you feel like you're in the middle of the scene. You have to see it to appreciate just how much it adds to a movie. And if you've never tried this ultra immersive format, ScreenX Day is your chance to see what it's like.

As for Titanic, this is what happened. It was advertised and no one I knew wanted to see it because it looked like a TV movie. The next week, the news, Entertainment Tonight/Inside Edition shows started running segments on how people were lined up to see Titanic and shows were selling out. I now realize today, that was part of the marketing for the movie. Without it, it definitely would have made less than 100 million. To be honest, on its own merit, it probably would have made close to Saving Private Ryan's numbers, which was around $216 million. $600 million was shenanigans.
You can choose to believe it or not. Go to cities like London and you will see 50 million Indian restaurants, go in one and you're the only person in there for an entire hour at dinner time, no takeout going on either. Restaurant is decked out with great furniture and looks expensive. Money laundering is happening whether you want to believe it or not. Sorry to break the news.
Another great scene with a great sound system to try is when Professor X loses control in Logan in the hotel room. I don't think the home versions quite do it justice like the theater can.
