On April 29, we're bringing back four amazing movies in ScreenX for one day only — so you can see what makes ScreenX so good for just $3.

ScreenX's multi-projection technology expands the picture beyond the screen and onto the auditorium walls, making you feel like you're in the middle of the scene. You have to see it to appreciate just how much it adds to a movie. And if you've never tried this ultra immersive format, ScreenX Day is your chance to see what it's like.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Good Lord, you actually had a rational argument when you were talking about the much improved home theater options and streaming services these days (bragging about your 77inch oled and 100 inch projectors at work, wonder what the peasants watch on?) But now that's all gibberish with this money laundering tin foil hat BS. "I don't know anyone who saw Titanic, therefore nobody did". Well, I did, and just about everyone I knew as well. And my favorite is "nobody ever saw Avatar 2 either" yeah you don't know one person who saw it, that's how you knew it was a terrible movie. Some of us peasants like going to the movies with our friends, perhaps if you found some you might as well.
Uhhhhhh, not really sure why you're so angry. I don't know what's going on in your life, but don't take it out on me.

As for Titanic, this is what happened. It was advertised and no one I knew wanted to see it because it looked like a TV movie. The next week, the news, Entertainment Tonight/Inside Edition shows started running segments on how people were lined up to see Titanic and shows were selling out. I now realize today, that was part of the marketing for the movie. Without it, it definitely would have made less than 100 million. To be honest, on its own merit, it probably would have made close to Saving Private Ryan's numbers, which was around $216 million. $600 million was shenanigans.

You can choose to believe it or not. Go to cities like London and you will see 50 million Indian restaurants, go in one and you're the only person in there for an entire hour at dinner time, no takeout going on either. Restaurant is decked out with great furniture and looks expensive. Money laundering is happening whether you want to believe it or not. Sorry to break the news.

If you have an AMC nearby that has Dolby format then you should check it out and see for yourself. The difference in picture and audio vs regular format is night and day. It's like going from DVD to 4K HDR Dolby Atmos.
Most of the people who are watching movies at the Dolby Cinema do realize that the seats are vibrating to add immersion, right? That's not the sound system. That's why the experience is amazing. I have a regular movie theater that actually has a pretty state-of-the-art sound system...there are some moments where it's incredible, like the opening to John Wick 4, where I think the Atmos system really shines. Otherwise, for the rest of the movie, it's not really noticeable.

Another great scene with a great sound system to try is when Professor X loses control in Logan in the hotel room. I don't think the home versions quite do it justice like the theater can.

Top Gun is a MUST SEE in ScreenX. It has the longest utilization of the ScreenX feature during all action sequences. They used the extra film from the array of IMAX cameras they had to fill the sides and its very immersive. The only movie I have seen in ScreenX and it was 100% worth it. Just make sure you're sitting further back.
