So how are the batteries on the refurbs? Are these most likely returns?

one year warranty FYI. brand new ones come with 2 year warranty plus whatever additional warranty costco provides (and/or your credit card in the case of new item purchases). might be worth it to pay more for costco.

Ordered a Navigator AT with no tax. This site looks to be MGI's refurb arm, so pretty comfortable ordering from them.

Yeah, that's the risk reward, it works out at $400 cheaper for me than Costco, with the sales tax. They seem to be pretty good with service. And that assumes they go on sale again

Not threadcrapping but genuinely curious — Do these make walking that much easier? I occasionally use push carts but aside from on really steep hills, have never felt that carts were heavy to push. And how do these things handle hills?

I've been in groups where guys use this. Probably don't make life easier, but depends on if you would find walking free or pushing your cart a nuisance or not. It's a lot of money to invest if you're not bothered by pushing a cart. Plus I'd imagine this is more appealing to the senior crowd.

On the other hand, I've seen these things fall over on hills, it's kind of hilarious. So I suppose there's a level of understanding how to navigate with them too.

Many people out there, including myself, have back issues. I can walk with a caddie, but pushing a cart hurts my back. I wish any of those would automatically follow you like some other ones out there.

Do any of these have follow mode or is that something that can be added later?

I have a Zip Navigator and it's amazing. It makes walking more enjoyable and less strain on the back. I definitely feel much more fatigue when I carry my bag or use a traditional push cart. I've put nearly 600 miles on my ZIP in the past two years and it's been a great purchase.

Best golf purchase I have made. I was hesitant because of the stigma of an electric push cart but I 100% recommend them. I enjoy walking and play mostly on hilly courses so it is a godsend, flat course maybe not so much benefit.

I have an Alphard Club Booster V2 and it's the best decision I've ever made when walking for golf. I find myself less fatigued and especially on holes 16-18 making better decisions because of that.

same. It make it a lot more enjoyable walking vs pushing a cart especially when it's wet.
