Just installed this and it's a great high quality floodlight camera. Maybe you're competent enough to install it and this would def be a slickdeal. $299 retail.

Quality of both audio and video is good! I live on a busy street so I wonder when until I'll need a replacement cause that pan and tilt camera is working hard w/o any viagra!

I have 2 of these installed but recently can't get them to connect to my new internet provider (Sonic gigabyte in the Bay Area). I can't even get my 2 solocams connected. My Ring doorbell connects just fine. Otherwise, these are great products.

I have them hooked up, they connect fine to Sonic Fiber in SF. I noticed the newer devices like this one doesn't support nor detect wifi SSIDs with symbols, so I had to update the name of my access point. I also had to restart the power to get the app/bt pairing to work during setup.

If it's having trouble connecting to the eufy servers, you can try updating your router's DNS to google or cloudflare's dns

I see, thanks. I got this response from Eufy this late night....
"I'm very sorry to hear that your floodlight cam and solocam S40 cannot connect to your new internet, in this case, may I confirm if the Gigabyte fiber internet is a mesh network? If it is, I am sorry to tell you that these cameras have some compatibility issue with the mesh network, can you consider switching them to normal router's 2.4G hz wifi connection?"

Right, so it sounds like a router issue! Your router should still be supported, make sure you enable 2.4Ghz and have a separate SSID for it. 5Ghz is for faster more concentrated speeds whereas 2.4Ghz is more widely supported and have a wider wifi range/coverage. All routers have a setting to enable this [may need to uncheck a box to combine ssid names] Smilie Good luck!

thanks! The TP - Link router from Costco that was posted on SD has a "Smart" feature to combine 2.4 and 5 Ghz. I'll try again using a separate 2.4 SSID.
