Good to toss in the trunk for the true emergency. Otherwise a plug kit and electric pump are preferred since they won't ruin your TPMS and leave a big mess.

I had a friend who swore spare tire in a can was one of the true awesome discoveries of the last century. In for one, you never know and this could get you out of a nasty situation in the middle of the night or lousy weather. I prefer to carry a high performance 12V air compressor and a plug kit. There are places and circumstances spare tire in a can is a far better solution. In for one.

Trash tier tire sealant. The only place you should store one of these is the garbage can. Check project farm:
