I checked my nearest Costco today at 3:00 PM PDT (3.5 hours ago) and their price is still $2799.99. I asked an employee if it will be discounted anytime soon now that the C3 models are available and he told me that the price will only come down once the manufacturer permits it. I'm guessing the manufacturer is permitting but not all warehouses are ready to do it.

MFG can't set in store pricing- they can only set MAP (minimum advertised price) which is why you'll often see these YMMV deals where the price is lower in one or more physical store but not available online and not advertised at all.

This is also why some authorized dealers sell through that website we're not supposed to mention- because your dealer is a "secret" so they're not technically advertising below MAP despite selling online below MAP

I feel it's going to go down since C3 is almost there. Hold on a little bit more.

Microcenter is refurbished not brand new in box with 5 yr warranty. Not seen $1800 for this anywhere.

When I asked initially they said they have a few of them, I bought after around 15-20 mins,they said that was last one in the box. They may have display models still. The $2100 price was not taken off though.
