Pretty sure this is around regular price for these. They are base grade models from each brand. Spend a little more and get something that has a sealed HEPA system. Will be much better for your home air quality.

Which one is the best from these? in my early college days experience Bissell was better than dirt devil but these were prices like $15-35max around that time.

I got the regular Bissell Power force for about $48 and it's so easily cleaned. It has a lot of force and no bags saves money and lets you empty it more frequently. The compact would be ideal for a second floor spare, otherwise get a higher model.

I have The Eureka Airspeed, the first link, which shows $50 now, and it works great for carpeted bedrooms. I paid $50 in Dec, and Im more than happy. Impressive suction. It's not HEPA. It's not good on floors, though. Mine came with a spare filter. It's a $50 vacuum. It's not going to do the whole house without bursting into flames. Even when doing a bedroom, you want to tilt it up occasionally to get some airflow to cool it down...

I have that dirt devil. I have a two bedroom apartment. Works well as it's slim so it fits well in the small storage space I have. No problems sucking up debris.

Very basic and weak. Worth it to pay just a little bit more for something that actually works. Also this is a normal price for this model

I bought the Bissell from Walmart several months back for the same price and it was not on sale. It works much better than my cordless V6 Dyson. It does not have a HEPA filter though.

I just went thru finding the best not costing hundreds of dollars vacuum a few weeks ago due to mine breaking beyond repair. Besides the filtration, the performance of the really low end ones aren't that great. As far as Walmart goes, seems like the best ones to get…Shark CU512 @ $97 if your store still has them, you don't need assortment of attachments, and don't need it to last forever….One of the bissells, I forget the model number now but was like $120, is supposed to be a good one…the Hart on clearance for $74 is a rebadge of one of the upper end Hoovers that is supposed to be pretty decent, if your store has them…and the $59 bissell bagged vacuum for a real budget but well performing vacuum. All the vacuum nerds on YouTube as well as some review sites really seem to prefer bagged over any cheap bagless. I ended up getting the shark despite probably not the best overall out of those, but think I probably would of gone with the bissell bagged one otherwise.

Now days, if you take care of it, keep it clean and occasionally change the filters, they pretty much run forever. I took mine apart to the bones 3 days ago, soaked the plastic in the bathtub and put it back together, only took a half-hour
