Can you explain how to do this? I currently have a smart phone with a few months left. I would like to merge the accounts and continue using the smart phone.

Too bad add a line is only 500 points rewards. Would jump on this if it was 10K points like last time. I did 2 last time, banked 20K points and then transferred the remaining 10 months for each line over to my existing line.

This is still a better deal than paying for 12 months of extended service, which is 3x the cost

I agree, same for me. With all of the points that I earned, I ended up getting three refurbished iPhone XR phones. They were in pristine condition.

I just activated the new phone & transferred my old number online, then swapped the SIM card to my new phone. Ppl say u need to call them & have them change the IMEI on the SIM (else they will possibly disconnect the line at some point), but i didn't do that & got 2 years for $50 not too long ago & had already done it over 1 year ago with another SIM. I've gotten a new phone in that time period, so each IMEI only had 2 SIMs associated, so maybe it's different if u have more, idk). This is a better deal, but oh well.

Edit: i see the post the other person linked, that's everything I did, but i just swapped the SIM card. I tried changing the device online, but it has errored out every time I've tried, & i didn't want to spend an hour+ on the phone with support, like I've had to do every time I've called them.

There is a risk that when you try to activate there wont be any prepaid minutes or data . This has happened to some of the folks and if you dont activate in 60 days your chance of disputing might not work . Alternatley you can try disputing with credit card company

I've had that happen on a minutes/time/data card from TracFone on ebay, & it had been well over 60 days, like 8 months, & it was just a blank SIM, without any minutes. I messaged them & explained, & the first person basically said it was only for new devices, so it's my own fault. I responded & said it was too late for me to refund, but u will dispute with my bank if they don't help me. The next person apologized & said, "can we just manually add the minutes/time/data? Would that be okay?" I said ofc, that's exactly what i was asking for. 🤦🏼 ♂️ So, i got what i paid for, but was very close to getting screwed, & i saw lots of reviewers on their ebay account who did get screwed. So beware in these cases, it definitely can happen.
