I have Makita impact driver an older 14 or 13 and it's the best out of all of them including Milwaukee , Ridgid and DeWalt . This impact wrench totally opposite, I had to return it ... It was way under powered . I think my brushed cheap Ryobi did much much better .

Yeah, Makita is great. But their Sub-Compact and 12v lineup are horrible.

Protip: If you have a Makita, and want to make sure it never gets stolen, buy the Black and White Shell for it. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I have a lot of the subcompact and they are great, never had any issues, same with most people who use them. They are not made to be power houses, they are smaller lighter duty. That's all. I have this impact wrench and it has no issues taking lug nuts off my pickup, it's also great for stripping bolts, but when I need grunt I have a big one, XWT18Z, because that's why they have weight classes. It probably won't work in the rust belt.

I'm a professional carpenter and love my subcompact makitas, rate them higher than the m12 fuels.
