It means TeraBytes Written

It means how many it can write before the drive is considered dead. The higher that number the more reliable it is likely

There's other drives that are 200 (laughable) and others that are 600 which is okay in the middle. Did someone say 1600? Wow I think that's the highest I've seen

Some anecdotal data: I got MSI rebate once back in Thanksgiving 2021 on the same drive, took about 2 months ish to get the physical card in mail. The entire submission process can be done online so that was a plus.

Agreed. Every time I see Spatium it reminds me of the ridiculous NewEgg Shuffle bundle where this was ridiculously overpriced along side a ridiculously over priced GPU.

Hard pass

For the cache-conscious crowd, the cache size is 1GB DDR4 according to the specs page.

It does give you an option to do it paperless, or is it just via mail?

PS5 required SSD speed is wayyyy over rated. The internal transfer speed of PS5 is only ~100-500MB/s, which is wayyyy lower than the 5500MB/s required speed. I've used this drive in both my PC and PS5 for a long time (later changed my PS5 drive to a cheaper 3500MB/s Kingston NV2) and there's no performance issue whatsoever. It does run hot so you might want to get a heatsink for it.
There are no required speeds for ssd used with the ps5.

Nope. I'm having flashbacks from 25 years ago when rebates were all the rage They literally were taunting you to mail it in. These companies were so confident that 60% of the people would never mail it back and the other 39.99% would get so frustrated with customer service telling them the rebates in the mail They would just give up. One of corporate Americas' most successful scams

Comon 2tb for 80$ and I will bite. 1tb is barely an upgrade for ps5 since games keep getting bigger and bigger.

From what I understand, you complete form online, print it, cut up the box for the bar code, stuff the crap in an envelope, get a stamp and mail it... If rebate was online I would have ordered it. Buying stamps and all that nonsense is lame.

1600 TBW is pretty good, but the 2TB inland SSDs I picked up from Microcenter last week have 3600 TBW. I was thinking about returning them because there's zero firmware support, but I think I'll keep one and give the other one to my brother for his PS5. They were only $99 each.

Edit: that deal is still active...
