Great deal. But it is unclear whether XMP is required for 3200MHz. I know at least 1 report of Dell Latitude laptops don't like and won't recognize XMP RAM.

Great deal, these are usually selling at >$80 even for used ones.

Lowest 1.2V rated latency (CL20), but configuration can differ (with most being single rank at only 1Rx8 or 1Rx16). However, from my own testing, 2Rx8 RAM only offers about 5% difference for 1080p high FPS games (we are looking at ~160FPS vs ~150FPS so you won't really notice anything).

nope, these came stock with 3200 and CL20 at 1.2V, which is the lowest latency across all 3200 SODIMM rams (at least for stock latency).

I just ordered the Timetec 32GB KIT(2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz (DDR4-3200) PC4-25600 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL22 Timing 22-22-22-52 2Rx8 Dual Rank 260 Pin SODIMM for $54.99

What does CL22 mean? These say they are dual channel. Does that mean dual rank? Should I cancel my order and oder these instead?

CL22 is the CAS Latency, going from CL22->CL20 would not be noticeable in daily activities. Dual Channel and Dual Rank are different things. Both of these would be dual channel since you will be using 2 sticks of DDR4 Ram with same capacity (16G). IMO, ranking would be more important than timing for most gaming and/or productivity related activities, especially since these are only 22 vs 20. The TimeTec kit is one of the best on the market right now for guaranteed dual rank (2Rx8) configuration so you can't go wrong either way.

Just FYI: these are single-rank modules. Look elsewhere if you want a dual-tank configuration.

What spec determines it's rank?

Kington website: "Kingston FURY KF432S20IBK2/32 is a kit of two 2G x 64-bit (16GB) DDR4-3200 CL20 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) 1Rx8, memory module, based on eight 2G x 8-bit FBGA components per module. Each module kit supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profiles (Intel® XMP) 2.0. Total kit capacity is 32GB. Each module has been tested to run at DDR4-3200 at a low latency timing of 20-22-22 at 1.2V"
1Rx8 means its a single rank ram.

Any idea why these won't work on an XPS 9510? Has anyone has any success with these on other XPS models? (9500, 9520, 9700, 9710, 9720)??

Thanks in advance.

Wow, you can still replace RAM in laptops?! Don't the manufactures realize they could solder it on and make you pay inflated RAM costs at purchase? That planned obsolescence would bring even more money over time?

Many laptops still allow the ability to switch. Besides that, these can be used on a NUC or Dell Micro or other mini PCs that only support laptop RAM
