Have to firmly disagree with the first post. I HATE this iteration of the Trail Glove. Toe box is VERY restrictive compared to the 5s imo. I own 4 pairs of the 5s and 1 of the 6s I refuse to wear. Great price though

I bought the trail glove 6 to replace my trail glove 3s, which I loved. First, they are very rigid compared to the old version, hardly minimlist if that's what you're looking for. More importantly for me, the toe box was so narrow I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or so. If you have narrow feet and want a slightly thinner traditional hiking shoe, they aren't bad. If you want a minimalist hiking shoe, I suggest Vivo Barefoot.

Anyone know if the Chaco "Lockdown" is the same as the "Lowdown"? DSW seems to be the only place to get the "Lockdown" so I am assuming it is a typo.

Honestly depends on what you consider fairly priced. I have a pair of wide Vasque boots that have been with me for 8 years without an issue. I got those for $130 I believe.

I've been waiting for the Vivo Barefoot trail boots to go on sale again, those run about $250. To me that's fairly priced but that doesn't mean everyone does.

My requirements really are 4-6 mile hikes / backpacking trips on mild rocky terrain about 3-4x a year, so nothing nuts.
