Same bike here on Amazon for $899. May be a better source to research. Looks like retail is $999

Right? Throwing $800+ at some chinesium e-bike seems like a poor choice. Good luck getting any product/warranty support, and good luck finding parts when things do start failing.

Worst name ever for a bike.. almost. "A bezoar is a mass often found trapped in the gastrointestinal system, though it can occur in other locations. A pseudobezoar is an indigestible object introduced intentionally into the digestive system."

Hi,Dreezy
Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, it does. The battery can be taken out.
Any information on what company manufacturers the cells inside this battery pack and what the chemistry is? Thank you.

Definitely should use Amazon vs geekbuying, their customer service is a nightmare, you will literally never hear anything good about how they handle disputes.

99% of ebikes are made in China, even the ones from American companies like RadPower, Aventon, they just order by bulk and tweak the designs, add some very cosmetic warranties and sell at a profit.
Yes but geekbuying is a gamble since you will 100% lose your money if the product happens to be defective. Speaking from experience.

Better quality control. That's why the cheap e-bike batteries catch fire 🔥 all the time and you very rarely hear about brand name ones burning up. 99% of the time it's Alibaba batteries sold cheap. All these batteries are just a bunch of small batteries like in a tv remote control soldered all together and covered with a plastic case. The people making these cheap ones are probably making them in their basement with the cheapest batteries they can get and their only experience is watching a YouTube video on how to connect all the batteries together. That's the difference.
It's not QC the name brands gets better controllers and programs them to stop charging at a certain threshold. The source Chinese ones are fine if you stop charging before or right when it's done. But don't buy from geekbuying they don't help when something goes wrong.

Biggest difference is this has full suspension built into the body and possibly better build quality on the parts. Battery is slightly weaker but the bike is probably much better. There are some reviews online unlike the cmacewheel. I would prefer full suspension for sure
at this price point full suspension will do nothing but add weight.

Agreed the cheapest aftermarket batteries built by a few people in business online themselves are not going to be built reliably, even state side DIY battery builders. But with these mass produced ebikes, the batteries should be mostly soldered by machines. China actually leads the world in EV and li-ion battery manufacturing, so of the few fires you see in the news, its still a tiny percentage of all sold. Also keep in mind many car fires that is just normal news.

The cells are standard in physical dimension only. The cells vary in quality.
Bargain mainland cells vs Samsung/Sanyo/Sony are the difference between losing 5% of your range per year and 40%.

I personally recommend skinnier tires to reduce weight, which helps in handling and transporting ebikes, when things are heavy, everything else has to work harder and wear out sooner, motor, brakes, bike carriers... etc. Most people ride on pavement anyway, even 2.0" width tires can handle a bit of offroading occasionally, anything wider is just a drag all the time.
Makes sense. I have wondered what the point of fat tires were on a full-suspension bike.

That shock is in a different spot than the OP.
This Cyrusher XF800 looks to be the same as the OP?
