Looks like a waste of a 144hz monitor for games, because no modern game will run at 144hz at native resolution on this Intel Arc. The newer Arcs are impressive, but the benchmarks on this one are not great for gaming.

I'll see how it does when i upgrade mine to 64 ram.

But still, just browsing web and using laptop with 144HZ monitor is a lot smoother experience than using 60HZ.
8gb ram is noticiable when gaming. I upgraded the ram to 64gb and runs very smooth. I'm sure 16gb should be just fine, but I wanted to go with the max.

This is a 4 year old video.. Is this for this Laptop? Just wanna make sure
Just from a curious POV - Most reviews online shows the GTX1650 instead of the ARC, which performs moderately better. I wonder what the reason was for the change.
That being said, I am very interested in this model and will look into it more if y'all have any other links regarding its performance. I'm a normal day user with some Steam games I'd like to play (FF12TZA, other tactics-based games) and hoping that this computer will meet its needs.
Just for my own understanding, what is the better usage of data?
- windows, normal operating programs on 2.5 HDD/SDD, games on NVMe; or
- windows, normal operating on NVMe, games on 2.5 hdd/sdd?
Thanks.

You could give it 1024GB of RAM and it STILL won't perform even as well as my 2 year old laptop with a 3070. This laptop is terrible with AWFUL specs and a dead end video card.
