Most of his concerns were either patched or related to his setup. You absolutely can save video to your phone from the app. Faces are crystal clear. I've always been notified by movements or a ring.

I would prefer my home's chime but oh well. It usually takes about 10 seconds for the notification to hit my phone.

I've never subscribed. I have Kasa devices all over my home including the doorbell and 2 different cameras. I've been pleased all around.

People need a decent home connection, not only with high upload speeds, but low latency too. If you're comparing the video playback from the SD card to cloud then you're not doing Kasa justice without taking this into consideration.

I have this doorbell, that isn't true at all. You can either pop out the SD and copy it or you can record clips directly from the playback in app

This has a regular price of $45 so still a deal but it hasn't been $60 in a long time if it ever was.

This thing is garbage. I purchased this tubing I could get away from Amazon Ring or Google Nest. It has failed more than it has worked.

What did others use for a transformer to hook this up? I have bell wire to the location but it seems to need a transformer that wasn't included with mine...

Per the specs:

Transformer (not Included)
16V AC ~ 24V AC, 10 VA Minimum, 50/60Hz

If you have an existing wired doorbell in your home, there's likely a transformer somewhere.

Most commonly found in attached garage, or closet nearest front door (remember it powers the doorbell). YMMV

This is it people, i just sold my ring on facebook for $45 to buy this thing for $45 (at the time), its good no problems. The video that guy posted? His review rated the image quality based on one glinty mounting location, don't tell us the product is bad because you have poor lighting.
