Shell is offering a $20 rebate on 3 gallons of Rotella T6 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil, and a $10 rebate on 3 gallons of Rotella T5 Synthetic Blend Diesel Engine Oil. Purchase must be made by June 30, 2023. Walmart currently has T6 gallons in several viscosities on sale for $23.50, making final cost $4.21 per quart ($16.84 per gallon) after rebate. It may say diesel on the bottle, but it has many uses. It is a high quality heavy duty oil that is useful in all sorts of small engines. I use it in my generator, mower, ATV, tractor...some people use it in gas engines. It has a higher zinc content which is great for protecting engines. However, that same zinc content could possibly cause problems for catalytic converters.

If you have an engine without catalytic converters, I would recommend T6.

Thanks OP. This is a great all around oil, I use it just about everything. And <$20/jug is about as good as it gets now. Free same day delivery from Walmart was a nice (unexpected) bonus.

Thanks for commenting. I use this in my diesel F250; Mobil 1 or similar (whatever full synthetic happens to be on a deal) in everything else. You should also try Rotella tomatoes; they're very good. : )

I've used only this oil since day 1 of owning my 2006 GSXR1000. Everything is still running strong 52,000 miles later. Great price, will be picking some up.

It's been said by some that full synthetics are too slippery for motorcycle wet clutches, but I've been running it in my 2002 Honda GL1800 for many years with zero issues. With oil change intervals at 3000 miles, my vehicle engines stay spotless internally and seem to run forever before showing any signs of age.

Are you changing oil on a semi or something? Most cars/ SUVs will take between 4-8 quarts. Even a 6.7 Cummins only take 12 quarts/3 gallons

7.3L Ford Powerstroke takes 15 quarts. I had to buy a special drain pan to handle that much.
