Not the greatest deal ever but not bad. Toolbarn has the Makita track saw kit with guide rail and 2 batteries plus 2 free batteries when added to cart and free shipping.

This appears to include 2 cases, one for the saw and one for the battery/charger.

Similar deals found elsewhere but only have 2 batteries, no charger, maybe no cases, and no track but also a little cheaper.

just grabbed one! it does in fact come with 2 additional batteries.
There is also a 40v version that comes with a free extra 40v battery, and also bundles with the 55"rail.

The 40v is 70$ more than the 18v kit. Both kits come with a 55" rail! This deal is really really good.

is there a dewalt or milwaukee version of this. i'm too vested in those other two brands and don't really want to start another collection of brand and batteries. also i don't foresee myself using this too often but a useful tool to have on those few occasions for the long straight cut. any suggestions.

Both brands have a track saw. The Milwaukee is a brand new product. I haven't heard too much about the Dewalt but I've heard some less than great things about it's track. The Milwaukee is supposed to be great and uses the same track design as Makita/Festool/powertec which makes their tracks interchangable. $$$ though, currently $400 with no battery or track.

This is actually a screaming deal. Thank you. I went through every sell on Makita's website today trying to find someone participating in this deal. I could only find Toolnut offering it, and they have it for $658. Somehow missed this posting before posting the Toolnut one. Thank you!
