Razer is such a joke. This is almost as bad as just rebranding the loupedeck and telling people, inside the Razer software, to just download the loupedeck software.

What a lazy joke. The MSRP is just to make it seem more reasonable that they want $80 for a color change.

Mine was less than that and all I was playing was AC Valhalla. I love the Series X/S controller's design, but for me I've had more drift issues with it (I own multiple controllers for Xbox) than my Nintendo Switch. I did get drift with one of my joycons once and sent it in for repair and I've been fine since then. Afaik Microsoft doesn't repair drift, so I've had to crack open a few controllers and follow some guides on iFixit. Not exactly the best experience at all.

Sometimes just blowing into it, or blasting some air in will help. Sometimes you gotta actually take apart the casing to blast it out. Sometimes it's farked and the only fix is replacing the stick, which can be a daunting task (I know I wouldn't want to do it). I hate how the cool controllers always seem to go bad, had all my crystal dualshocks get farky after only a few months. Bought a few spare of the 20th anniversary this time just in case.

The battery and charger factor in to make this roughly ~$55-60 for the controller alone, it's not a screaming deal but it's not terrible

I dont remember xbox 360 controllers ever having so many drift issues, I used to abuse the daylights out of them. Now I buy a new controller roughly every year now because they get so bad. Adult owned controllers, no greasy hands. Sort of disappointing how quality has gone down and prices keep going up on these things.

Seems like those greasy hands were lubing it up and preventing the stick drift.
