If you've never tried one, do yourself a favor and try a Nestle KitKat bar. Hershey makes them in the US because of licensing laws, but Nestle makes them in the rest of the world and they use a way better quality chocolate and they're 100x better.

TLDR: USA chocolate is watered down and sugared up.

"According to Insider, chocolate in the U.K. has more cocoa and larger amounts of fat. This makes a creamier offering. Chocolate in the U.S. is more reliant on generous amounts of sugar, making for a much sweeter bar. Even the rules differ. In Great Britain, milk chocolate must possess at least 25% cocoa, while on American soil, it must have a minimum of 10% chocolate liquor. As a result, these two Kit Kat bars are similar only in name."

I'm seeing $9.50 from a 3rd party seller on the Kitkats

Also the $5.90 price for the box of bars comes out to ~25 cents / oz.

But then the 12 packs run ~20c / oz so its a bettter value.

Is there a difference between the sizes? I noticed a size AND taste difference if you buy the 4pack vs the 10pack of 2packs or bag of 2packs. In summary anything outside of the 4pack tastes like shit.

Price per ounce is still higher than Walmart's Great Value brand Kit Kat https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Milk-Chocolate-Crispy-Wafer-6Pk-Candy-Bar/1848608357?athbdg=L... [walmart.com]

I like the Walmart brand actually better than the Hersheys branded Kit Kat because the chocolate is less sweet and richer tasting to me.

I've had them a number of times in the UK, Japan and the Philippines. I didn't notice a difference. I am familiar with them being made by Hershey in the USA. I'm a pretty simple person in terms of taste but I'm surprised that others think they are that different.

Where to get those here in US?
