Yes and you can read it too here: https://www.goldmansachs.com/term...eement.pdf [goldmansachs.com]

You can't withdraw any money because it takes days to process your transfers( your $$ transfer is still processing)… this is a standard practice.
Yes, it's standard.

AVAILABILITY OF ACH TRANSFERS Funds received by ACH Transfer initiated through Apple Wallet from a linked external account will generally be available 5 Business Days after you initiate the ACH Transfer, but may be available earlier.

I understand and agree with that.. but at the same time to earn interest I am sure investment amount will be high. No one deposit and search for deal to invest total $1000 investment to earn $5 a year
I agree, that it would be a waste of time for somebody to investigate various deals if all they have to park is $1,000

Us treasuries are paying 5% just open a Treasury direct account.

How? What management is required to administer it after moving it?

I'm sure I can google the results; the basic fact of the matter is anyone with an iPhone can do this in about 5 minutes and they can look at their money daily with the iPhone's built-in apps. It's trivial.

There's value in that. Sure, if you're moving $240,000 into an account, that extra 75% matters a lot. If you "only" have $10k and you want easy access, and are already in Apple's ecosystem, perhaps it's not as important.

~5%+ right now on 26 week treasuries!
About as risk free as you can get =)
You can't touch your money for 26 weeks though?
If you cash out early, do you get hit with a penalty?

Chasing after interest rates with these high yield accounts is pointless unless you're moving a lot money. If you have $10k and go from 3.75% to 4.15%, it'll take you an entire year to gain roughly $40. Leave your money parked where it's convenient. If growth is what you're after, you shouldn't be chasing deposit rates.

UFB Direct is owned by Axos Financial. They have been under investigation for shady practices since 2014.
An internal employee accused the CEO of funneling money to his personal account.
The whistle blower was subsequently fired by Axos. He filed a wrongful termination lawsuit, and won that case in 2022 for $1.5 million.

"The jury found that Erhart "reasonably believed" the bank's conduct included: high deposit risk concentration; giving a misleading response to a subpoena from the Securities and Exchange Commission; failing to disclose subpoenas to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the bank's regulator, in response to its request; and providing risky loans to criminals or politically exposed people, those who, because of their public positions or relationships, "may present a risk higher than other customers by having access to funds that may be the proceeds of corruption or other illicit activity," according to bank regulators."

Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. Stay away from UFB.
what you propose ? what is the best choose ? Synchrony Bank ? CFG Bank? Hyperion Bank 5.50 % !

Soft pull to check what you'd qualify for, Hard pull once you accept offer.

When the FED begins to turn around, and they begin decreasing rates, then all banks will follow and yes, this rate will begin to decrease along with all of the other banks.
AFAIK rates are still going up. The same scenario was well played by eTrade earlier this year, so I am positive GS will do just that.
