I got a pair of them with my issi pedals that I used to convert favero power pedals to spd. I'd say I've ridden them about 1k miles. Left side is starting to have issues staying clipped in even though it is the side I unclip the least. In for 4 sets at this price.

It's a good price. Keep in mind that these are multi-release. Multi-release SPD adds an extra bevel on the cleat so that they can pull straight out instead of twisting. Good for beginner riders who may not be used to clipless pedals, but probably something an experienced rider should steer clear of since an accidental unclip while sprinting or climbing out of the saddle could be disastrous.

If you rely on the cleat for your bunny hop the multi directional release won't be good

It is actually meh for anything but "first few weeks training with SPDs", IMHO.

Great for mtbikers. Fast and multi-angle exit is handy and as long as you tighten your pedals appropriately they work great.

Multi release is not just for beginners. I've been racing Category 1 mountain bikes for decades any only use Shimano multi release cleats, SH-56. Multi release gives you much more convidence in extreme tech to stay clipped in longer and attempt to power through the roughest rock gardens. I never get unwanted unclips while sprinting. If your not twisting your heal while sprinted you'll be fine.

I read the reviews and will not be buying these cleats. Judging by the reviews these cleats wear rapidly. The reason for the rapid wear is that the cleats are not made from hardened steel. Manufactures use soft steel to make the cleats because soft steel is easier to form and the stamping dies last much longer, increasing their profit. I've encountered counterfeit Shimano cleats that also wore out quickly The genuine Shimano cleats will be hard, around 52 Rockwell on the hardness scale, and last much longer. I work in manufacturing and always test the hardness of my cleats upon arrival. Ebay and Amazon are hit or miss for counterfeits. Never got counterfeits from reputable online and local bike stores.

Would this be food for peloton riders then?

Possibly. Nutritional value looks low and I doubt they'll be able to chew them, though.
