fcc filing states brand name as "onn" so its possible they built it for onn/Walmart
Why not? It's using wireless tech, which means any signals between your devices can be pickup and tampered if it's not secure. It's just you're not as important enough to be targeted tbh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
