Seems to be fairly new as I can't find many examples of this being sold elsewhere. The next closest thing at Amazon is the Champion 10,000 peak tri-fuel for a couple hundred more. The Duromax 13,000 peak tri-fuel is $2,500.

Just noticed that Home Depot has matched the Amazon price [homedepot.com].

I would guess not -- couldn't find a Pulsar tri-fuel in a quick web search. It's true you can find a dual-fuel in this power range at this price or less, including this Pulsar for $900 w/ coupon [amazon.com] which may very well be the one referred to. Nothing on THD in the listing, but the mfr does state in the product Q&A at Amazon 5-8% at half load or less. That's pretty darn good in this size/price range.

Tri-fuel commands quite the premium usually -- more than it should IMHO, but there aren't a bunch of models out there. Only worth it if you plan to hook up to your home NG supply for essentially limitless run time. Downside is lower power output than gas or LP, which is why a big one like this is attractive.

It's also important to note that the power output is highest on gasoline, drops if you use LPG, and is lowest on NG. Technically only 7500 running watts/9500 starting watts on natural gas so the best output is gasoline
