Worth noting that this is light duty and only has a 250lbs total weight rating. Most wire shelves in this category are 250lbs PER SHELF.

This is 250 pounds with the wheels/casters. It is likely higher without the wheels. Shelving that comes with casters will always have two different weight loads: with and without wheels. But, yes, there are definitely some that can handle more.

I personally prefer buying from Costco, but I think the extra size is worth the extra $5. Of course, if you're looking to put it in a smaller space, then the Sam's option wouldn't work for you.
