Shocked how well Samsung has maintained pricing on S23 ultra! 2 months later and no great deals.. that quite an achievement for any Android phone.
I suspect it's a single chip for global sales making it 'easier' to plan and forecast production that's given them latitude to hold firmer on price. For now...
Just check how much s22 ultra worth..
I don't think s23 ultra is going to be on sale anytime soon.

What it's worth and what they're still trying to charge for it are two different things IMO. They do offer $700 for S22 Ultra but considering one would still have to add $500+ on top of that makes this "deal" not as appealing unless someone really needs S23 Ultra right now.
For the trade-in, would a chipped and scratched corner of the trade-in phone only qualify for the "cracked" value? The phone looks fine otherwise.
Probably. I've had Samsung give me guff on really nice condition trade ins. From the tales I hear from others they can be very random in what's acceptable. It really sucks to see hundreds in value vanish off a trade in when you know the phone was fine.
Not happy about color but will be in case anyways. got it for under 500 after S22 Ultra trade in (-700) Probably the worst deal I've ever had on new note but I guess this is how it is now. I dont think deal will get anymore maybe not until end of year holiday sales.
My phone screen (S22U) broke - cheapest screen replacement I could find was $311. Was able to get this for $499 w trade in discounts. Well worth the extra ~$200 just to get a brand new phone.
No way I would have done a regular trade in, with the mostly minor (nice, but minor) upgrades from S22U to S23U
Thanks! Purchased a 512 GB Lime one, got rid of my 128 GB S22+ and paid $591 after Student discount.
Been waiting for a better Trade-In deal, gave up and traded my S22+ for $560 TIV. I moved from S20 Ultra to S22+ and hated the Plus; probably I got used to the curved screen and S22+ felt much worse than my work iPhone XR. Initially I thought I can live with it as it just switched, but after even few months, I had the same terrible feeling. Feels super good to come back to Ultra.
