My main worry with these drives is who handles warranty issues? From what I have been reading they rely on distributors to handle, except Amazon will not after 30 days, will Newegg? Anyone have any different info on this issue?

I won't bet on Newegg. Warranty with Newegg is so hard. They will probably redirect you RMA that bad item. 😭

Don't buy it now. It is a promotion strategy. The price is not attractive at all.

Solidigm is fully owned by SK Hynix so warranty is a non-issue.

Why is it a non-issue? Do some checking and then tell me what I do with a drive that needs RMA? Because everything I have read (on their website) says their distributors handle warranty issues, but for example, Amazon only does so for 30 days from purchase.
