I own one of these. Complete garbage. My opinion, but I can tell you that it has been nothing but a headache and unreliable. Good price, but not for a badly designed and produced cam.
I had bought the 3 pack (without light) for $99 and they are garbage. I have not had any issues with my system until I added the essential cameras. They continually disconnect and have to be charged weekly even with no activity. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

There was a backlash, so they added a yr to phase out, so the subscription plan is catch for those who want access to some basic free tier
