Hey, I bought this back in Dec. for $13.99. I use it for my bedside table with a small 5 gallon aquarium. I have a mini table lamp, aquarium light, aquarium filter, air pump phone charger, tablet charger, echo speaker (alexa) plugged in. I wouldn't trust this with my PC or entertainment center stuff, but small low powered stuff this works great.

Deceptive advertising and it's a dumb design. There is no space being saved here unless 'length' is your only concern. If you use all three sides then your cords will be taking up an insane amount of space on your desk the way it's shown. Put a strip behind your cabinet on the floor and it only takes up a 'strip width' amount of space. Put this behind there and you can't use two sides of it. Mount it to the wall and you can't use one side of it.

Watch out for electrical devices that don't have UL testing - there are 18 other companies doing similar testing in compliance with OSHA standards. Any of them are fine. It is a fire safety consideration, like changing the batteries in your smoke alarms yearly. Simple thing and costs a few $$$ extra, but I don't want my house burned down over a $20 defective part.

These days, I prefer to get power strips with individual on/off switches for at least 50% of the ports. Very convenient to power cycle or just power off vampire devices.

Very true but having plugs on the sides is great for behind/under furniture or you can mount it to the back of a side/end table. I don't mind not having USB ports because in my experience they're usually either slow or incompatible with certain cables and/or devices.

Do not buy any unknown brand of surge protectors from Amazon! Chances are this device will not have any surge protection components at all! The wiring could be wrong. Rails touching causing burnt outlet.

That one has no components for surge protection! I took it apart. It is a FAKE. They say it's UL listed in the manual. Most of the ones I bought have the hot and neutral reversed!
Never again! Stick with a UL listed brand name! It will have a holographic sticker on the the device.

The one in this deal looks to small to have surge components inside. Someone needs to open one.
