Great deal, just be aware no accessories like paddles or charging case come with it... old paddles from previous gen elites will work fine, and you can just charge via usb-c without the case
It's been at $108 on Amazon for at least several weeks now. I don't think this is a new deal.
Maybe I have heavy hands. I have 7 controllers sitting in front of me and only 1 works properly. Buttons stick, stick drift, slow response on some buttons. It's frustrating going through so many controllers.

If you can, make sure to get a warranty. These things are great when they work, but tends to break down fairly quick.

I've been a gamer for 40 years and never had a problem with an Xbox controller. Still have my original 360 controller that works fine. What games do you people play that these controllers fail so much? Are you throwing your controllers? I had 1 brand new Dualshock 4 with stick drift. That's my only experience with stick drift.

still same crap quality. Bought in September and just submitted warranty claim this week for stick drift. Went through 2 other elite controllers previously. Love the feel of the elites but the internal are garbage. Really need a class action to go through.

It may be that people who spend money on these controllers are those who game more and/or heavily. This my be a different gamer population than regular gamers.

That's nuts. How many hours of gaming per day on average?

What they get sued for? Is there a warranty they are not honoring?

I would tend to agree. I bought 2 from ebay (series 1) that I repaired myself, and so far neither has had an issue. But I'm not the typical gamer, maybe play 5-10 hrs per week. But those back paddles got me hooked.

I'll offer a good game that may be the cause of 2 of my controllers getting the stick drift, Far Cry 5. The very nature of how to sprint is to push in the thumbstick and press a direction. Unlike other games where you may press it in once and then just tilt, this requires pushing in the whole time you wish to sprint. I've been gaming for almost 40 years myself, and XBox controllers have seemingly gone downhill since the original console. The 360 controllers were okay but is also when the quality started dipping. I am currently trying to get my new controller repaired that I purchased on January 27, but XBox says the warranty is already expired as of February 12.

As others have said if you're gonna spend on a new controller nowadays, get the extended warranty because these are notorious for breaking, and repairing them yourself isn't an easy task for the less experienced. And no, I have never thrown my controllers because I'm not a petulant child. But I do game a lot and these things happen far more frequently than they should.

They aren't honoring a warranty for my controller that was purchased on January 27. They claim the warranty expired on February 12. When I asked how long warranties are supposed to be for, the customer service rep couldn't provide me with an answer. I really wish I was making this up. In the past, getting things serviced was actually really a simple process.
