plastic roses which have no smell and don't attract any pollinators. You are better off buying some local breeders which at least feels like real rose

Reviews look terrible, but I'm sure it's just luck with the quality you get.

I've planted knockouts at several of my houses throughout the years (I move a lot) and they're amazing. They bloom 3/4 of the year in the southeast with beautiful roses. These aren't the long stem roses you would find in a bouquet, but they're pretty nonetheless.

They're also very hardy. I've never had to do anything other than prune them after planting. Technically they self-deadhead, but the dead flowers will hang on for a bit after a bloom so you may want to snip them off yourself for a more manicured look.

Overall they are beautiful, hardy, fast growing rose shrub. I highly recommend them.

I just planted my first 1 gal knockouts about 6 weeks ago. Also, bought it at HD for $25. Here in Austin, TX the zone is 8 for hardiness. These bloomed right away and looked beautiful. Would you recommend cutting dead flowers or is that just cosmetic? I planted mine in the backyard to save from deers that we have too many here. So I don't care about appearance.

$17 seems like a good price. I might buy another gallon. haha

Purely cosmetic. Once they're established they don't need anything from you.

My mom has these in white and they have really taken off! Beautiful and not as thorny!
