What about intel e and p cores within windows?
I dont think having park a ccd for best gaming performance is going to be an issue for too long, either amd will release a chipset driver for windows or windows release one if they haven't already done it.

For the record I have a 5800 X3D. My PC is primarily for gaming.

If more worried about productivity apps the 7950 might be ok, but not as optimized as Intel.
Unfortunately those same reviews have helped shrink the available supply of 7800s, which is why you may see 7950 discounts.

Also, in the GN video, his concern is strictly over core parking and which cores benefit from scaling due to the CCN design.
This is a limitation of Windows because it does not know of how the CPU is handling the workload. Instead, Steve recommends AMD's workaround to let Windows be the boss because it is not capable of understanding which application needs extra cache (this is where the vcache benefit comes in).
This says far more of a problem with Windows refusing closer business relationships with AMD than it does to say "well, gee golly, AMD can't design a good scheduler on their flagship CPU" <-- whatever this means.
In short because you only want to argue and parrot something you don't understand from a YouTube Video:
WINDOWS = problem, not AMD

Are you aware that their Azure stamps are not even their own OS?

Thread scheduling, thread parking...call it whatever or blame whoever you want. We shouldn't have to rely on drivers to tell Windows/Linux what side of the CPU to use.
