Name another EV company that can self drive itself on the road as well as a Tesla, and has one of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time running it's company (Elon will have a larger legacy than Bill Gates or Steve Jobs once it's all said and done).

Here's a Tesla self driving. Super impressive what Tesla has accomplished:

How's the third row? Useless? Okay for toddlers?
IMO, it's very useless and it's only for kids up to 5-yr old. But go see one for yourself. My 5-foot, 110-lb wife couldn't even fit her petite frame in the third row comfortably.

I have absolutely no interest in a car that drives itself. Actually wanting this is the most npc thing I can think of.

Don't buy this junk. No one can legitimately argue this is a good quality car with practical value. Tons of quality competition in this space with more luxury, better price, reliability, and you're not going to be kicking yourself when the price drops another few thousand.

lol model 3 rwd is only $39,990 now. wow. Imagine having to compete with a company that can slash prices because they have such incredible profit margins. Hyundai could drop their ev6 to $30,000 no-markup-allowed MSRP and i still wouldnt buy it. no superchargers and i never want to talk to a fat ass car salesman with spiked hair ever again my life even if they made zero commission.

This is a no brainer good deal. If you haven't owned or extensively driven a Tesla you really can't or shouldn't comment on the value. I have purchased around a dozen new Tesla cars and keep coming back. The cars are basically fully equipped as standard now with only colors and wheels as options. I'm always disappointed now driving a gas car after being used to the smooth brute power of our Performance Teslas. I will say FSD is a waste compared with the value of the standard Auto Pilot systems. We had a couple with EAP and one FSD car but now I don't pay to upgrade anymore.
I have several friends that got teslas and their spouse refuses to drive their gas cars anymore due to the way the computers try to be economical and cut throttle input. So i guess thats a negative for tesla, if you buy it be prepared that its so good that you will be stuck with your secondary ICE vehicle..

How to understand this tax incentive benefit. I'm having too many questions on how this works. Can someone provide me a link or video how to get $7,500 benefits in next year filling? Thanks in advance
If you make less than $150k single/$300k married filing jointly then feb 2024 go into an H&R block and have them do your taxes for $500 and dont worry about it, they will do it.

Obviously I am not eligible for tax credit.

BTW if you are eligible, you should be more frugal and not buy a Tesla.

I've been watching the Model Y for couple of years with the development and pricing.

We're at a pivotal time in the market. Other car mfrs are coming online with their EV versions.

Tesla obviously knows this.

They're dropping prices to "suck the oxygen out of the room". If they can convince someone to buy their car now, before the wave of other EVs hit the market, they've taken the money/customers out of play. Making those potential customers for Ford, Honda, etc. no longer waiting in line for those mfrs.

It's a smart move to create additional demand. They know what is going on in the market place and trying their best to keep their hold on the market for as long as possible.
I think theres something like 60,000 EVs being made for and then sold every month in america. 50,000 of those are tesla every month. If tesla closed tomorrow its not like the other companies would suddenly have 50,000 EVs to sell to americans.. they dont have enough batteries, factories, or something resembling profit margins, to make 50,000 EVs. Only tesla does.

Has nothing to do with sucking the oxygen out of the room.

The reason theyre slashing prices is because they have profit margins similar to porsche and they need as much cash on hand as possible to keep making new factories to pump out their PROFITABLE EVs because everyone with a brain realizes theres so many advantages to using electricity over oil.

So many telsa on the freeway now. More and more old women are driving telsa. Is it the new trend?
My mom just turned 80 and got one. She really likes the feature where music plays, lights flash, windows go up and down, side view mirrors go in and out, the trunk hatch goes up and down, etc. She's actually an intelligent woman but I guess easily amused.

Good to know, is it better to change the tax withholdings through employer to owe the tax next year? otherwise 7500 is out of the window
Yeah, set withholding to have $600 less tax taken each paycheck, no reason to give the IRS a $7500 loan for 12 months no reason.

Does install wall charger applies to every state or just certain states? Also what are the qualifications?
