Over the years I've amassed my free weight collection through Craigslist and FB marketplace. I've been able to buy my weights at .25 to .50 cents per lb. People hate to move exercise equipment. I guess the thinking is I haven't used it in ten years no use taking it with me. Hope this saves people some money.
This is a great suggestion if you dont mind waiting.
I scored 760lbs of weights, a bench, and a lat pulldown setup (that I need to mount to something) for 100 bucks recently, only because it wasnt worth their hassle moving it.
Now im just waiting for a bench press rack to actually use half of the weights!
just a fyi. i finally go therse delivered. the center hole is too big, so when you set it on the ground the weights lean, aslo the outer rim of the plate is beveled, so it really wants to tip on the bar.

I saw that bevel in the product images and thought it might have just been a bad photo. That's pretty bizarre.
