This has impressive performance given its hardware limitations. Large continuous file transfers are going to be an issue as the drive fills up because of the QLC and the lack of DRAM.
This would be good as a second drive for the average user. You could use this in place of a larger HDD as a secondary drive, especially if you motherboard has 2 NVMe slots.

There is also a setting in the cruical ssd app called "momentum cache" that suppose to use ram as cache to increase drive life and speed. It's good to use on device with a backup UPS such as laptop otherwise corruption might happen.
I had one of the P3 Plus drives die on me after a few hundred GB of writes. Probably semi defective flash. But it got me reading about QLC NAND and I will probably avoid that stuff for now. TLC flash was already pretty lame but QLC is something else.
