OP isn't correct. AW3423DWF and AW3423DWF are both QD-OLED, not QD-LED

Seems some people with that lot have had that issue. Lots of YMMV factors of course. I own the AW3423DW​ close to a year now and it's going strong outside of annoying issues with the menu. If you are going to take the plunge, I recommend the DWF even if the margins are closer with this deal. Allegedly a better menu HUD with more options and actually user update-able firmware.

I want one of these, but really want UHD / 4K resolution. Having a hard time finding a monitor that is:

32 - 34"
UHD 4K
Minimum of 120Hz refresh rate, ideally supporting Nvidia gSync
OLED or Mini-LED panel (but am open to other panel tech)

Which one is better, the DW or DWF? Reviews have said the DWF has issues with HDR.

I believe they're both the same monitors...the only difference is the chip for sync

DWF is for AMD GPU (works w/nvidia as well technically)
DW is for Nvidia GPU

It's only been up for an hour and has 17 upvotes. I think this is great for the price, but it's first gen, so monitors will come out by the end of this year that are better. Might be awhile before those better monitors are $700-800 though.

I ordered the F version for $700 refurbished from Dell, but it was defective and they wouldn't replace it, so had to return. Definitely would rather get it new with the warranty and the Gsync version with better HDR for $100 more. Will miss the updates the F version had, but the Gsync version is certainly better for me overall.
