Oh well, I have no problem with downloading it again since I do have fast speed of internet. Plus, I'm not even a heavy ps5 user.

A higher overall capacity means not needing to write to the drive as often, which in turn means the drive has a much longer life expectancy. Feel free to keep (re)downloading games when you want to play it, but don't be surprised if the drive doesn't last nearly as long as you thought it would as a result of constantly doing that. I guess it might not be as big of an issue for you if you don't use it that often, but everyone has different usage needs.

Personally, as soon as I finally got my PS5 last week and found out it could accommodate up to a 4TB SSD, I found it hard to want to get anything less than that. Unfortunately, I have no interest in spending nearly the same amount on it as I did to get the system itself, so I'm really hoping for prices to drop a bit more before I get one, but this one is pretty darn tempting.

Reading reviews of this drive, it is surprisingly good. On many important benchmarks it is better than the revered Samsung 980. At $300ish including tax it's really a strong deal.

I think my breaking point for buying (yet another ) drive like this is somewhere between $200 and $250. Close to top tier performance and higher capacity. At that price it would be hard to argue.
