I've purchased the open box and used. The open box are open box and comes withl all the accessories. If something is missing, you can return it. It generally comes with the original box.
You have to be careful with the used ones. They do provide pictures of what you are getting. They also will attempt to provide a description of the used product. However, the pictures are just of the outside. And the description is often not that accurate. I purchased a used dynamic evo for $75 that was just supposed to be missing a back plate - but the picture was of dynamic XL. I did receive the dynamic XL but it was missing back plate, drive trays, cover plate and many more items. But for $75, I kept it.
You can often find really good deals on open box and used. The prices vary based on the current sales price. If they run a sale on the new, the open box prices will drop.
