for what? nothing is on the horizon. the 7900tx might be $700 at xmass? the 4070 will be $500 because vram buses or something... we are talking 50-70 $ here... i would get the 6950tx if it didn't sit on the top of power consumption lists (would rather get the a 6800xt for $400)

The 7800xt should be coming at some point. The 4070 is rumored to get a $50 rebate.

Used vs new is never a very fair comparison. If you get a perfect used card, maybe not. If the one you get is heavily mined/trashed then it definitely is worth it. Plus there's a warranty and game bundle.
