I just received mine, LG Gram 17, from Buydig through this deal today. I put in my order last Tuesday and selected free shipping and it was shipped through FedEx Ground. It was well packed and padded inside a generic shipping box. The unit came inside the original LG Gram box with a "Refurbished" label on the side of the box. There is a protective film on the outside of the laptop but my unit was not put in the original protective cloth case inside the box. The AC Adapter was put in the AC adapter compartment of the original box. I noticed couple of dust mark below the mousepad and on the bottom of the laptop and also fingerprints on the palm rest but I was able to wipe it off easy. I plugged the unit in and powered it up and the Windows 11 setup screen came up without any issue. Overall I think it met my expectation for a refurbished unit as far as physical condition.

I have attached some photos here showing the unboxing and condition of the laptop when I received it earlier this afternoon.

Few questions...
Who refurbished these?
Who is giving the 2-year warranty?
Thinking to go with the 15 inch, mostly for when I travel and on the go. No gaming. Just browsing, youtube, and streaming.

Thank you for the reply. Wasn't sure what CPS was. Googled it... "CPS provides warranties for iPhones, iPads, laptops, and other electronics. Compare us against more costly insurance..."

Seems like the best upper tier (non gaming) spec laptop deal posted here recently. Ordered one for kiddo and one for work.

Looking at the 16" 2 in 1. What Gen are we on now? Is 11th, good enough this day and age? It's for the wife, she won't be gaming. She wants something she can use as a tablet or laptop. Thanks

I bought one of these to replace a macbook air m1, and it did not go well for me. I did not like the keys just an FYI in case anyone is considering. The keys feel way different.

performance-wise, except for the Iris Xe graphic, any idea if a 12th Gen Core i3-1215U is even better than these 11th Gen i5 and i7?

I have an LG Gram (15" with an 11th gen intel) and I absolutely love it. Considering a second so I can keep one docked and travel with the other. These are game changers

I bought the refurb 11th gen 17" gram from buydig. It is just a customer return so conditions vary. Other than all the fingerprints, mine was ok after a wipe down with alcohol wipes. Still had plastic wrap on the upper lid but fingerprints all around the bottom and keyboard deck. So, you could get similar. If worse, just return (I think they say free return).

I am on the other end of the spectrum. Returned MBA for the small screen and don't want to bear the weight of MBP.

I've done business with BuyDig / Beach Camera over the years and have always had good experiences. However, I pulled up user comments on CPS warranty and found some very negative reviews. Sounds like there is no intention to repair / replace a defective item. Rather, CPS will offer to make a cash settlement for substantially less than what your item cost. The offer is non-negotiable, take it or leave it.

Saying that, the prices for these refurb LG Grams are decent . I bought the15" w/I5-1135G new a year ago for about $700 IIRC. I really like it the machine. In fact, thinking about snagging one of these for my wife. Unlikely to ever return to using a the standard 4lb laptop again.

yeah, definitely don't let the warranty be a factor in your decision (at least not in favor of...).

Amateur question, how can I tell if these ones have the 16:10 or 16:9 display?
