Wanted to get this but can't buy it since checkout is closed with 30 min left on the deal. Makes no sense.

Their Friday deals span 48 hours due to the weekly closure of checkout. You have until 11:59 PM EST to on Saturday to purchase it. Checkout opens before then.

B&H is run by an Orthodox Jewish family who truly put their money where their mouth is. The store AND the website both close at sundown on Fridays. They are the Chick-fil-A of photo supplies.

Ah I looked at it wrong. It has happened before though where I had something that I wanted to get but checkout was closed and the next morning the deal was no longer there. But I was able to pick this up. Thanks!
