Nice I bought this. Wondering if its worth going with the G30LP for $500 instead? Does the longer base lead to more stability? The range to me is a wash. Also the 3-4 lbs savings might be helpful?

How is the range a wash? That is such a major factor!

Sorry - meant to say my commute will be 1-5 miles one-way so the 25 mi vs 40 mi range on these 2 models won't be a big factor for me

Just get the longer range. Well worth the 100 bucks in the long term. Save several plug ins

AFAIK this is the best price this particular scooter has been till now. It is a very good/reliable scooter with excellent range. But the price drop is due to the newer G2 version which has been released with upgrades such as front and rear suspension, turn signal indicators, built-in horn, built-in apple find my feature and a more powerful motor. The newer version is going to be around 800-1k. For $600, this is really difficult to beat.

Great price. I went with this model over all others. There's a newer model coming out that will kinda replace this, but at this price, this model is a no brainer at this price.

Good deal for being from Amazon. On Tuesdays, Segway has flash sales from 10-2pm and these occasionally hit $599. I know for sure at least once last month.

Yes.

This kind of scooter lacks suspension. Antiquated in the feature department, and speed is meh. Build quality is awesome on MAX line, however. This thing is a tank and is okay as a starter. Obviously too slow to match traffic in a city.

No it usually hovers around $800. Triplecamel says $599 is the all time low on Amazon. Like another poster said, it will go on sale for this price about once or twice a month via Segway but their flash sales are only a few hours on Tuesday.
