670p at $80 is still a safer bet. The only thing you are missing out on is TBW.

Where to still get the 670p for only $80? Everywhere, including Amazon is back up to $90.
OK, I see Newegg still has it for $80 with free shipping. There must be TONS of overstock on the 670p. I'd rather try it for $70!

Seems like prices have stagnated. No good (TLC with cache) gen3, let alone gen4 2tb drive has been $99 or lower yet. My guess is this sweet spot will be a long time in coming, with all the crappy QLC drives out now.

You'll have to wait for YMTC to triple productions this year.

Aren't these speeds a tad low compared to others?

Just curious.

Seagate got fined $300 million for selling to China recently, so I am hoping to see their prices tank soon.

Teamgroup is way better than the Intel 670p. I have the slightly older 660p and let me tell you it's pretty much hot garbage. The 670p is not better than the 660p sadly.

Would there be any issue putting one of these in an old Ivy Bridge build with this?

https://www.amazon.com/M-2-Adapte...B07JJTVGZM

Would be used as a secondary drive for more game storage, so no need to boot off it.

I couldn't agree more. The Intels are amazing and I've owned them 660p and the 670p for over 6 years on some. They aren't the fastest on the market but reliability is amazing.
