So, I wouldn't venture to store data, critical or otherwise, on a no-name no-reviews yet product, fwiw!
SP UD90 is $93 right now. The Solidigm P41 Plus is probably a safer bet at $99 coming from Hynix.
Kingston NV2 and PNY CS2140 have been bellow $100, but the other drives I think are better.

Probably a Innogrit IG5220 with YMTC TLC, perfectly good performance and on paper much better than this drive.

Im kinda looking for one (a 670p @ $80) too.. even at $90 that drive is a good bargain but its the principle... after all this IS slickdeals

This NVMe SSD is slow, but ok as a second drive for a laptop with two NVMe slots or an external USB-C NVMe enclosure.
