I had a PS+ code I bought for $29 from cdkeys in 2020, deals like that were common back then. I just applied it a couple months ago and it worked. So the codes themselves could be usable years later. I'd apply to your account though as soon as you receive it rather than keep to avoid the situation of someone hacking and using your code.

Sony and Microsoft are going to continue raising pricing for their online service, makes sense to keep stacking them on your account when deals popup. I'd be surprised if Sony has a maximum set on the number of years in the future your membership can go out.

Can anything be done if I had physical cards that someone hacked and used?

Stacked codes years ago, and just got the reminder I set years ago that my PSN+ is expiring in two days... I regret missing the $45 Days of Plays deal but I'll take "less than retail" at least. Code worked for me. Thanks OP!

You can stack up to 15 years. The real value is the flat cost to roll over all those years to to extra or premium, cause it caps the price
